Water World

This whole Website is about a lake—Kootenay Lake. Now, the essence of a lake is water, so what could be more appropriate than for a part of it to treat the world of water. Of course, the terms, water world and waterworld, are redolent of apocalyptic cinema and aquatic theme parks. The approach here will be a tad more cerebral.

What should be treated here? Contents will evolve, but there are some obvious initial choices: aquatic life, surface phenomena such as waves and wakes, and shoreline features sculpted by water such as beaches.
