Lakeside Scenes

A walk along the shore here is problematic.

This section concentrates on the scenic aspects of the land along the lakeshore. It is a big lake and many parts of the shore are not very accessible; this is but a taste.

Many of my lakeside views are extremely wide angle shots. Some in the panorama section are 360° by 100°. Some in other sections (e.g. Nelson, Moyie) encompass the whole sphere: 360° in the horizontal and 180° in the vertical, or 4π steradians. The presentation of his second group makes for a visually interesting exercise in mapping a sphere onto a plane. Indeed, sometimes the same scene will appear more than once with different mappings.
